These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Panols iOS application and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Panols helps you organize, edit, split, export, and share photos. Most photo processing occurs on your device. Optional Instagram direct posting uses a dedicated temporary-media service only after you choose to connect an eligible Instagram account and explicitly request a post.
Panols does not require or create a Panols account for these features. Connecting Instagram does not make your Instagram account a Panols account.
You retain your rights in the photos, captions, and other content you select. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to edit, export, share, or post that content and that your use does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.
When you explicitly request an Instagram direct post, you give Panols the limited permission necessary to prepare, temporarily transmit, and delete the selected copies solely to carry out that request. This permission ends when the request and required cleanup finish. Panols does not receive a license to use your content for advertising, training, marketing, resale, or unrelated product purposes.
A chosen publishing format can create one carousel or multiple Instagram posts. If a request is interrupted, some of those posts may already have been published. Check the result in Instagram before starting another request.
Instagram connection and direct posting are optional. Instagram authentication, account eligibility, content acceptance, posting limits, availability, and retention are controlled by Meta and your Instagram settings. You must comply with the terms and policies that apply to your Instagram account and content. Panols cannot guarantee that Instagram will accept or publish a post.
Panols never asks for or receives your Instagram password. Disconnecting in Panols removes the device-only credential from that device; you can also revoke Panols through Instagram's connected-app or account-access settings. Disconnecting does not delete posts already published to Instagram or automatically erase publishing records kept on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Manual sharing remains available when direct posting is unavailable or when you do not connect an eligible Instagram Creator or Business account.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable terms. Prices, renewal terms, trials, cancellation, and refund handling are shown in Apple's purchase flow. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation or security, evade rate limits, attempt to access another person's content or credentials, or use the Service to violate law or third-party rights. Panols may disable a service integration when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or a third-party platform.
The Panols Privacy Policy explains what information Panols processes, what leaves your device, retention, deletion, providers, and your choices. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, pause, or stop, including when a third-party platform changes its APIs, permissions, or policies. Panols will not materially expand how it uses your selected content without updating its disclosures and obtaining consent where required.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panols disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires a different result.
Panols may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date and, where required, an in-app or other appropriate notice. Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
